DRY RUB INGREDIENTS
1 Teaspoon Himalayan Pink Salt
½ Tablespoon Onion Powder
½ Tablespoon Garlic Powder
1½ Tablespoons Cumin
1 Teaspoon Paprika
2 Tablespoons Coconut Sugar
RIBS and BBQ SAUCE INGREDIENTS
2 LBS Pork Ribs
6oz Tomato Paste
1½ Tablespoons Cumin
1½ Tablespoons Paprika
4 Teaspoons Himalayan Pink Salt
1½ Tablespoons Onion Powder
1 Tablespoon Garlic Powder
½ Cup Coconut Aminos
2 Tablespoons Coconut Sugar
2 Tablespoons Apple Cider Vinegar
ASSEMBLY
- Make the dry rub by combining all of the ingredients to a small bowl. Mix until fully combined.
- Remove the membrane from the pork ribs.
- Preheat the grill to 500.
- Sprinkle ½ of the dry rub to both sides of the ribs.
- Place the rack of ribs on the grill. Grill both sides at 500 for 5 minutes each.
- Set aside to cool, and make the BBQ sauce.
- Add all of the BBQ ingredients to a medium sized mixing bowl. Mix until smooth and fully combined.
- Add 1 cup of water to the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Sprinkle the remaining dry rub to both sides of the cooled ribs.
- Rub the BBQ sauce all over both sides of the ribs. If there is remaining BBQ, set aside.
- Place the ribs in the slow cooker so they evenly align the sides.
- Pour any of the remaining BBQ sauce over the ribs.
- Cook the ribs on low for 7 hours.
- Carefully remove the ribs and set aside on a large plate or platter.
- Stir all of the remaining fixings in the slow cooker to create a smooth BBQ sauce.
- Pour the BBQ sauce on top of the ribs.
- Slice, serve, and ENJOY!
