Cauliflower Tots

INGREDIENTS

1 Head of Cauliflower

1 Teaspoon Thyme

¼ Teaspoon Onion Powder

¼ Teaspoon Paprika

1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder

½ Teaspoon Himalayan Salt

2 Tablespoons Avocado Oil

ASSEMBLY:

  1. In a small mixing bowl combine thyme, onion powder, paprika, garlic powder, salt and oil.  Mix well. 
  2. In a large plastic baggie, add cauliflower and oil mixture.  Close the baggie and evenly coat the cauliflower with the mixture.     
  3. Place cauliflower in the air fryer at 350° F for 17 – 20 minutes.    
  4. Shake the basket often. 
  5. Serve Cauliflower Tots with No Sugar Added Organic Ketchup.

HEALTH BENEFITS

Garlic:  Can reduce high blood pressure, and it also contains antioxidants.  Top food for gut health – it contains prebiotic fiber, plus it’s antiviral and antifungal.

Himalayan Salt:  One of the cleanest salts you can find. As opposed to conventional table salt that is heavily processed which removes its beneficial minerals.

Cauliflower:  An excellent source of Vitamin C.  Cauliflower also contains sulforaphane, which is a sulfur compound that has also been shown to kill cancer stem cells and slow tumor growth.

Avocado Oil: Rich in healthy fat, and it’s a good choice for high temperature cooking.
