STEAK INGREDIENTS
1LB Grassfed Skirt Steak
½ Cup Avocado Oil
½ Cup Coconut Aminos
¼ Cup Balsamic Vinegar
1 Teaspoon Himalayan Pink Salt
1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
½ Teaspoon Onion Powder
SLAW INGREDIENTS
½ Cup Avocado Mayo
¼ Cup Sour Cream
¼ Cup Heavy Whipping Cream
¼ Teaspoon Garlic Powder
2 Teaspoons Parsley
1 Teaspoon Dried Dill
1 Tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar
½ Teaspoon Paprika
½ Jalapeno Seeded and Finely Diced
1 Teaspoon Himalayan Pink Salt
1 Teaspoon Cracked Pepper
12oz Coleslaw
Large Handful of Cilantro Chopped
½ Cup Red Onion Diced
ASSEMBLY
- Marinate the steak. Add all of the steak ingredients to a medium sized bowl and mix well.
- Add the steak and marinate for 24 hours for extra tenderness.
- Make the coleslaw dressing by adding the mayo, sour cream, heavy cream, and all of the spices to a small bowl.
- Mix well until fully combined. Refrigerate until you’re ready to grill.
- Preheat grill on high heat, roughly 550° Fahrenheit.
- In a large bowl add the coleslaw, cilantro, and onions. Pour the sauce over the slaw and mix until evenly coated.
- Chill until ready to serve.
- Place the steak on the grill for 4 minutes, flipping only once, then grill for an additional 3-4 minutes on the other side for a medium rare steak.
- Adjust cooking time based on personal preference.
- Set aside for 10 minutes to let the steak collect its juices and continue cooking. Do not cover.
- Thinly slice the steak and serve with the coleslaw.
