INGREDIENTS
1LB Ground Beef
2/3 Cup Diced Onion
½ Teaspoon Pink Himalayan Salt
¼ Teaspoon Garlic Powder
2 Tablespoons Coconut Aminos
2 Teaspoons Meat and Potatoes Seasoning by Primal Palate
3 Tablespoons Butter, Room Temp
8 Slices of Sandwich Bread, Preferably Sourdough
4 Tablespoons of Avocado Oil Mayo
1 Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
1 Tomato Thinly Sliced
¼ Cup Red Onion Sliced
1 Cup Green Leaf Lettuce Shredded
ASSEMBLY
- In a large skillet add the onion and ground beef.
- Brown and crumble the beef over medium heat. Stir and chop the beef mixture occasionally with a spatula.
- In a small bowl make the sauce by mixing together the salt, garlic powder, coconut aminos, and the meat and potatoes seasoning. Mix until fully combined.
- Pour the sauce into the ground beef mixture and mix until the beef is evenly coated.
- Turn the beef onto low heat, and simmer.
- Butter the outside of each bread slice, and coat the other side with the mayo.
- Lay the butter side down on a large griddle pan and lightly brown the slices of bread over medium low heat. This is the only side of the bread you will pan fry.
- When the bread is lightly golden brown and almost done pan frying, add the cheese to the ground beef mixture.
- Mix the ground beef until the cheese is melted and fully combined.
- Plate the slices of bread, and add the ground beef and the veggies to the bottom slice.
- Top each sandwich with the other slice of bread.
- Serve, and ENJOY!
