TZATZIKI INGREDIENTS
1 Cup Greek Yogurt
1 Cup Cucumber Finely Diced
2 Garlic Cloves Minced
1 Tablespoon Red Onion Finely Diced
½ Teaspoon Himalayan Pink Salt
1 Teaspoon Dill
1 Teaspoon Red Wine Vinegar
BURGER INGREDIENTS
1LB of Ground Lamb
1 Tablespoon Oregano
½ Teaspoon Himalayan Pink Salt
¼ Teaspoon Cracked Black Pepper
2 Teaspoons Rosemary
½ Teaspoon Thyme
1 Tablespoon Oregano
¼ Teaspoon Garlic Powder
¼ Teaspoon Onion Powder
4 Slices Sourdough Bread
2 Tablespoons Butter Softened
ASSEMBLY
- Make the tzatziki by adding the Greek yogurt, cucumber, garlic, red onion, pink salt, dill, and vinegar to a small bowl. Mix until fully combined and store in the fridge.
- Make the burgers by adding the oregano, pink salt, pepper, rosemary, thyme, oregano, garlic powder, and onion powder to a small bowl. Mix until fully combined.
- In a medium sized mixing bowl add the lamb and all of the seasoning. Mix until the seasoning is evenly and fully combined.
- Form the lamb into four patties.
- Spread the butter on one side of all four slices of bread and place on a frying pan.
- Heat your grill to 400° – 450°F.
- Place your burger patties on the grill for 4-5 minutes, then flip and grill for an additional 4-5 minutes.
- While your burgers are grilling, start browning the bread over medium low heat.
- Generously top 2 slices of bread with the tzatziki sauce.
- Remove the burger patties from the gill, and place them on top of the two slices of bread with the sauce.
- Top the burgers with onion, lettuce, and tomato.
- Serve and ENJOY!
